On 27th February 2024, World NGO Day, a team of volunteers from 1Point1 visited the non-profit animal hospital Jeevashram Foundation in New Delhi to recognise the dedication and resilience of NGO workers.
This visit was undertaken to express gratitude and support to the committed staff at the foundation, who put in a lot of effort to ensure the well-being of our four-legged companions. In addition to bringing along some food, our volunteers also contributed their time to assist the organisation’s staff in meeting the daily needs of the animals under their care.
The volunteers fed and played with the animals at the shelter and appreciated the commendable efforts put in by the staff day in and day out. The visit fostered a sense of connection with the animals and sparked a concern for animal welfare among the volunteers.
