Recognising the challenges faced by our specially-abled brothers and sisters is a step to creating a society where everyone is understood, accepted, and welcomed. A team of volunteers from 1Point1 visited the Viklang Kendra & Education Hub to further this effort on 4th December 2023, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
Our volunteers had a memorable experience during their visit. By spending time with and understanding the challenges of the specially-abled, they returned with a more empathetic mindset.
This visit not only sparked conversations but also inspired action to build a world where everyone, irrespective of abilities, is valued, respected, and given equal opportunities to grow.
